11.1 Creating a new training program
- Select Menu followed by Create new.
- Give the training program a name and then click Save.
- Open the training program.
There are several options for creating a training program in line with your wishes:
- Choose the phase type: simple or interval.
- Give each phase a name. For example, warm up or cool down.
- Specify whether the phase change should occur automatically after a certain time or whether you want to switch phases manually.
- Use the mode to specify whether you want to limit the phase by duration or heart rate.
- Specify the duration of the phase.
- Specify the heart rate target zone.
If you have selected Interval as the phase type, specify the number of repeats and define the effort and recovery phases.
